Fantasy Wonderland is the first booster set of the English My Little Pony Trading Card Game, and the set whose chase cards have been trading longest. This guide goes through them tier by tier, gives you KAYOU's published pull rates for every tier, and puts completed eBay sales in Australian dollars next to each card, so you know what a big pull actually sells for rather than what someone asked for it.

Everything here is about the English edition. Two English boxes exist for this set: the North American print (box code BNA01, MPN MLP-KP-HXQJ-001-NA) and the South-East Asian print (MPN MLP-KP-HXQJ-001-UV). Both use the same BP01 card numbers, as does the Chinese print, so check the language on any listing before you compare prices. The English box we carry is the Fantasy Wonderland NA booster box.

How the Fantasy Wonderland rarity ladder works

The set has 191 card types across 13 rarity tiers, five cards a pack, 20 packs a box and 32 boxes a case. Eight tiers are the base ladder; the top five each have a Shining (※) parallel that shares the base card's number, so the ※ mark printed on the face is the only way to tell them apart.

One quirk of this set: the six Emerald Rares and their Shining pairs are numbered under the starter-deck prefix, SD01-ER07 to SD01-ER12 for the base scenes and ※SD01-ER01 to ※SD01-ER06 for the Shining day and night pairs, even though they come out of Fantasy Wonderland packs. Sellers write both that and "BP01-ER", and this page reads both.

Pull rates: what KAYOU actually publishes

KAYOU prints its production ratio rather than per-card odds. Six packs in every 20 carry two Commons, two Uncommon/Sapphire cards and an Emerald Rare. The other 14 packs swap one of those for a single card from the SR / RR / GR / CR / GR※ / SPR※ / CR※ / RR※ pool and can upgrade the Emerald to a Shining Emerald. Worked out across a case, that gives:

So a box is never empty: you are guaranteed a Ruby Rare, a Shining Gold Rare and a Shining Emerald Rare, plus a handful of Gold and Colorful Rares. The ※ tiers above that are where the chase is, and they are genuinely rare: a case is 640 packs, and it holds one Shining Ruby.

Shining Ruby Rare: what has actually sold

Six cards, one per case, and the thinnest market in the set. A card needs three completed sales in the window before it gets a row here, five before it gets a median, and Best Offer sales never enter a figure. In the 90 days to 30 September 2026 the six Shining Rubies had 2 completed sales and 3 accepted Best Offers between them under a title that marked them Shining: Twilight Sparkle (no completed sales, 1 Best Offer); Fluttershy (1 completed sale, 1 Best Offer); Pinkie Pie (1 completed sale, 1 Best Offer). Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity had none. No card reached the three-sale line, so this page gives no figure for a Shining Ruby this month.

Some sellers list a Shining card without the ※ or the word Shining. This page cannot tell a sale like that from the base card, so it stays under the base card rather than being guessed across. The Shining rows come back as soon as a card reaches three completed sales in a monthly capture.

Shining Colorful Rare: the tier a box opener can hit

Twelve recoloured, enhanced-foil alternate arts at one per 8 boxes. Of the three Shining tiers a box does not guarantee, this one has the most completed sales, though no card in it reached five in the quarter, so every row carries a range marked thin rather than a median.

The other nine Shining Colorfuls sold 8 times between them, plus 5 accepted Best Offers, so they get no row. The holo promo Colorful Rares from Anime Expo and SDCC 2026, which carry pack-card numbers, are a different card again: 22 completed sales and 5 Best Offers in the window, numbered inconsistently by sellers, so no figure is given for them here and they stay out of the tables. Do not price a pack-pulled Colorful Rare off a promo, or the other way round.

Shining Sapphire, Shining Gold and Shining Emerald

The six Shining Gold lenticular signature cards are guaranteed one per box, so they sell more often than any other Shining tier, and they are the Shining cards with real medians. Rainbow Dash's sells well above the rest.

The Shining Emeralds come as Day and Night scenes under one number, and few sell singly under a code: 3 completed sales and no Best Offers across all six numbers in the window, so no row.

What the base tiers sell for

The regular tiers are pleasant pulls, not payouts. Rather than list every card, here is each base tier by the median sold price of its cards, counting only cards with five or more completed sales. No base Emerald Rare sale carried its SD01 or its BP01 code in the window.

Many Silver Rares, Uncommons and Commons move through multi-card "choose your card" listings, which eBay shows once whatever was bought, so their counts here understate how many change hands. Graded copies sold too rarely in the window for a graded row.

Sealed boxes in the same window

Only 2 sealed Fantasy Wonderland box sales in the window carried the BP01 code, too few for a table. Boxes listed by name alone are outside this capture, and this page does not set the chase cards against a box price in any case. How Fantasy Wonderland compares with the later sets

Both English sets are now read on the same capture, so the comparison is like for like, on counts. In the 90 days to 30 September 2026 the Fantasy Wonderland Shining Rubies had 2 completed sales against 12 for DISCORD!!!, its Shining Colorfuls 17 against 29, and its one-per-box Shining Golds 52 against 58. Both counts cover only listings that carried the card code. The pull structure is the same in both sets: a box reliably returns a Ruby Rare and two Shining cards, roughly one box in eight hides a Shining Colorful, and one case holds a Shining Ruby. Series 3, Nightmare Night, uses the same 13-tier ladder across 190 cards with a Halloween theme, and its English print reaches Australia on 2 October 2026; its English singles are not in this capture yet.

How to check a price yourself

There is no price guide for this game yet. PriceCharting lists Fantasy Wonderland singles, but it files the ※ Shining card and the base card under one card number, so its figures mix the two, and TCGplayer has no listing for KAYOU's game. eBay sold listings are the only real evidence. Search the card number (for example "BP01-RR05"), add "English" or "Kayou", filter to sold and completed, and read the spread rather than the top result. Three things to watch. First, the Chinese edition shares the BP01 numbering, and plenty of listings never state the language. Second, "BP01" is also a Palworld set, a Yu-Gi-Oh Battle Pack, an Azur Lane set and an Ultraman set, so a bare code search turns up far more of those than ponies; add "pony" or a character's name. Third, the starter-deck Ruby Rares (SD01-RR), the Anime Expo and SDCC 2026 promos, and KAYOU's Moon Edition and Star Edition collectible cards all surface in the same searches and are not pack pulls from Fantasy Wonderland; the SD01-ER Emeralds are. Sellers also describe the same Shining card as "Alt Art", "Signature" or "Stamped", and a few use those words on base cards, which is why a thin row here can carry a wide range.

Every ※ card in this set is lenticular, and the surface scratches if you thumb it. Sleeve straight from the pack, then toploader anything RR※ or CR※. The day-and-night Shining Emerald pairs are worth more to a collector kept together than split up.
