About this product

What's in the box

Twenty sealed foil booster packs from Discord, Series 2 of the English My Little Pony Trading Card Game and the expansion headlined by Discord himself.

Each pack holds 5 cards, so a box is 100 cards — a mix of pony character cards and the skill cards you build a deck around. Pack contents are random and no specific card is guaranteed.

Chase cards to look for

The top of the ladder is the Shining Ruby Rare (RR※): six full-art Mane Six cards (Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity) with a rainbow lenticular border, and Discord hidden somewhere in the background of every one. At the published ratio of one RR※ per 640 packs, that is one card per 32-box case.

Beneath them sit the twelve signature-stamped Shining Colorful Rare (CR※) alternate arts at one per 8 boxes, the eleven Shining Sapphire (SPR※) event and item cards at one per 4 boxes, and the Shining Gold (GR※) and Shining Emerald (ER※) tiers at one each per box. The six Emerald Rare location cards are interiors, from the second floor of the Golden Oak Library to the Carousel Boutique fitting room, and they pair with the six exterior scenes from Fantasy Wonderland, so collectors chase twelve locations across the two sets.

How the MLP TCG works

This is KAYOU's genuinely playable My Little Pony line, not the Friendship Eternal collectible range. Force of Harmony is the cost to put cards into play; Inspiration is a Character's strength when it meets a rival in a Contact.

Turns run through four phases — Starting, Main, Contact and End — across Scene, Story, Retirement and Adventure areas, with up to 3 characters on your Adventure at once. You win by promoting your Main Character to the stage four Story card, or when your opponent's Main Deck runs out. Games take roughly 20–30 minutes and the game is rated ages 6 and up.

Series 2 as an expansion, not a starting point

Discord adds to an existing card pool. It is not a way into the game on its own — a booster box contains no rules and no ready-to-play deck.

If nobody in the house plays yet, start with a Friendships Begin starter deck: 70 cards, pre-built, with the rules printed on the included playmat. Series 1 Fantasy Wonderland boosters and this Series 2 box then both serve the same purpose of widening what you can build.

The NA print, and buying it in Australia

This is the North American English print, MPN MLP-KP-WXSK-002B-NA, sourced through KAYOU's official Australian distribution partner. Cards are coated card stock, manufactured in China.

Boxes ship factory-sealed with the KAYOU security hologram intact, dispatched from NSW.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this authentic?

Yes. Every product sold by CottierTCG is 100% genuine KAYOU, checked before dispatch.

Is this the English version?

Yes. This is the English North America (NA) edition of KAYOU's My Little Pony line.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are dispatched from Central Coast, NSW. Standard delivery is typically 3–7 business days after dispatch. Shipping is free on orders over $145. Under that, it's calculated by parcel weight from $9.95.

Why buy from an Australian seller instead of overseas?

Two reasons: authenticity and speed. Every order is genuine KAYOU, checked before dispatch, so you avoid the counterfeit and seller-roulette risk of grey-market overseas listings. And because we hold local Australian stock and dispatch same or next business day from Central Coast, NSW (orders before 2pm AEST), your order arrives tracked in 3–7 business days instead of the 2–5 week wait common on overseas orders.

What do I get in the box?

A factory-sealed MLP TCG Series 2 booster box. Contains 20 booster packs with 5 cards each. Ideal for a fuller opening session and more variety in one order.

Is this good for beginners?

Yes. Unlike our collectible card lines, this is a playable trading card game — starter and deck sets are ready to play out of the box, and booster boxes expand your card pool.

What is the rarest card in Discord?

The six Shining Ruby Rare (RR※) Mane Six full-arts are the rarest cards in the set, at a published ratio of one per 640 packs, which is one card in a 32-box case. Each one has Discord hidden in the background art. The twelve signature-stamped Shining Colorful Rares (CR※) come next at one per 8 boxes. Discord's own cards are a Common, two Uncommons and a Silver Rare, so he is not a chase card himself.

Is every Discord box guaranteed a hit?

Yes. The published box ratio gives every 20-pack box one Ruby Rare, one Shining Gold Rare and one Shining Emerald Rare, plus about seven Silver Rares and two each of Gold Rare and Colorful Rare. The Shining Ruby, Shining Colorful and Shining Sapphire tiers come on top of that and are not guaranteed.

What is the difference between the NA Foil Edition and the SEA print?

Both are English prints of the same Discord set and share the same BP02 card numbers. This page is the North American print, MPN MLP-KP-WXSK-002B-NA, a box of 20 packs of 5 cards that North American retailers sell as the Foil Edition. KAYOU has not published any difference in the cards between the NA and SEA prints; the South-East Asian print carries the MPN MLP-KP-WXSK-002-SEA.
