DISCORD!!! is the second booster set of the English My Little Pony Trading Card Game, and the one that puts the Lord of Chaos into the card pool. This guide shows every one of the 191 cards tier by tier with its card number, names the six Season 2 episodes the set turns into Story cards, gives KAYOU's printed pull ratio, and explains what the set adds to a deck. It is the set explainer: for what the chase cards sell for, read our DISCORD!!! value guide, which is refreshed monthly.
Everything here is about the English print (card prefix BP02). KAYOU's official page lists two North American item codes for the set: MLP-KP-WXSK-002B-NA is the 20-pack display box of five-card packs, 32 boxes to a carton, and the one we stock; MLP-KP-WXSK-002A-NA is a 12-pack box of the same packs, 16 to a carton, with the same printed ratio. A South-East Asian English print (MLP-KP-WXSK-002-SEA) was a single run and is no longer supplied, and a Chinese print shares the BP02 numbers, so check the language before you compare anything. Card images on this page are KAYOU's own, from the official DISCORD!!! series page, which is the North American print.
Quick Answer: DISCORD!!! (Booster Pack 02) has 191 cards across 13 rarity tiers, five cards a pack and 20 packs a display box. Its 24 Story cards retell six Season 2 episodes, one per Mane Six, it makes Discord deck-buildable for the first time, and it adds six interior Scenes that pair with the Series 1 exteriors. On KAYOU's pack ratio a box averages one Ruby Rare, one Shining Gold Rare and one Shining Emerald Rare, with the six Shining Ruby Rare Mane Six at about one per 32-box case. It plays with Fantasy Wonderland, Nightmare Night and the Friendships Begin starter decks, and sealed English boxes are in stock in Australia now.
What DISCORD!!! is
Where Fantasy Wonderland introduced the Mane Six and their homes, DISCORD!!! is built on Season 2 of Friendship is Magic, the season that opens with Discord's return. The set's Story cards are six episodes cut into four stages each, and the stage names on the cards follow the episodes beat for beat:
- Lesson Zero (Twilight Sparkle): Deadline Dilemma, A Desperate Situation, The Wrong Solution, A Lesson Learned
- Hurricane Fluttershy (Fluttershy): Sick Day, Flight Training, A Step Further, No.1 Flyer
- Baby Cakes (Pinkie Pie): Leave It to Pinkie!, Under "Control", Little Big Trouble, Fast Asleep
- The Last Roundup (Applejack): To the Rodeo, No Return, Her Lips Are Sealed, You are still No.1!
- May the Best Pet Win! (Rainbow Dash): So Many Choices, Pet Contest, The Accident, Tank's Tenacity
- Sweet and Elite (Rarity): A Newcomer, The Hot Spot, Double Booked, Best Friends Ever

Each story is the four-card ladder your Main Character climbs to win, so the episode you pick is the objective of every game you play with that deck. The 24 Story cards are numbered BP02-C25 to C48, at the Common tier, so a full set of all six episodes comes out of a single box.
The rest of the season is in the events and items. Smartypants and Arrange the Bookshelf are Lesson Zero, Fire Ruby is Secret of My Excess, Daring Do's Adventure and Venture to the Temple are Read It and Weep, Zap Apple Season is Family Appreciation Day, Rainbow Dash Fan Club is The Mysterious Mare Do Well, Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake arrive as Commons from Baby Cakes, and Visit the Sculpture Garden is the Canterlot garden where The Return of Harmony begins. Discord himself gets a Common, two Uncommons and a Silver Rare, all carrying the Draconequis and Villain traits, which makes this the first set where he can be played rather than just pulled.
Card list and rarity ladder
The set runs to 191 card types across 13 tiers. Eight tiers form the base ladder and five are Shining (※). Each Shining card reuses a base card's number with different art, so in a listing the ※ before the number is the only difference in the code. The tier counts below are KAYOU's, from the official series page; the numbers are the ones printed on the cards.
| Tier | Name | Card types | Numbers | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| C | Common | 48 | BP02-C01 to C48 | 24 characters and the 24 Story cards |
| U | Uncommon | 18 | BP02-U01 to U18 | Two of each Mane Six, Spike, the Cutie Mark Crusaders and two Discords |
| SR | Silver Rare | 14 | BP02-SR01 to SR14 | Mane Six, Spike, Discord, the Crusaders, Daring Do, Philomena, Big McIntosh |
| SPR | Sapphire Rare | 28 | BP02-SPR01 to SPR28 | 21 foil events and 7 items |
| ER | Emerald Rare | 6 | BP02-ER01 to ER06 | Six interior Scenes, one per Mane Six home |
| GR | Gold Rare | 12 | BP02-GR01 to GR12 | Two of each Mane Six |
| CR | Colorful Rare | 12 | BP02-CR01 to CR12 | Two full-character arts of each Mane Six |
| RR | Ruby Rare | 6 | BP02-RR01 to RR06 | Mirror-themed Mane Six, no gameplay text |
| ER※ | Shining Emerald | 12 | ※BP02-ER01 to ER06, day and night | A day and a night version of each interior |
| GR※ | Shining Gold | 6 | ※BP02-GR01 to GR06 | The Mane Six as Daring Do adventurers, lenticular |
| SPR※ | Shining Sapphire | 11 | ※BP02-SPR01, 02, 05, 10, 14, 15, 16, 18, 23, 24, 26 | Eleven of the 28 events and items |
| CR※ | Shining Colorful | 12 | ※BP02-CR01 to CR12 | Signature-stamped alternate arts |
| RR※ | Shining Ruby | 6 | ※BP02-RR01 to RR06 | The top chase |
The shape is Fantasy Wonderland's exactly, 191 types with the same thirteen tiers, and Nightmare Night keeps it too apart from one fewer Shining Gold. What is particular to DISCORD!!! is the Shining Gold tier: the six ※ Golds are not foil versions of the Mane Six Golds' art but a separate set of adventure illustrations, the Mane Six in Daring Do's jungle, sharing the GR01 to GR06 numbers and rules text. The eleven Shining Sapphires are a hand-picked eleven, which is why their numbers skip.
The chase tiers, pictured
The six Shining Ruby Rares are the cards a case is opened for. Each is a Mane Six portrait in front of a mirror whose reflection Discord has got at, with the artist's signature in the art, a rainbow border and no gameplay text, numbered ※BP02-RR01 to RR06 in the usual order: Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity. Look closely at the frames and reflections: Discord is worked into every one.

The twelve Shining Colorful Rares are signature-stamped alternate arts, ※BP02-CR01 to CR12, two of each Mane Six, Twilight Sparkle to Rarity and round again: Twilight and Spike in a bubble over a mountain top, Fluttershy with the forest animals, Pinkie Pie and the bees, Applejack with Winona and the cows, Rainbow Dash through a thunderhead, Rarity in a bat-filled cave, and a second six in which Discord keeps turning up, behind Fluttershy's armchair, beside Pinkie Pie, in Rarity's fitting room. They are the most-pulled chase tier in a box and the first ones most collectors go looking for.

The eleven Shining Sapphires are events and items with a laser-etched or glitter finish: Today's Checklist, Friendship Letter, Physical Training, Old House Demolition, Juice the Grape, Toss and Catch'em, Rainbow Dash Fan Club and Pet Day among the events, and Daring Do's Adventure, Party Cannon and Fire Ruby among the items.

The six Shining Golds are the lenticular Daring Do adventure scenes, ※BP02-GR01 to GR06: Twilight Sparkle in the ruins, Fluttershy face to face with a tiger, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash in Daring Do's hat and Rarity in the desert. About one a box.

The twelve Shining Emeralds are a day and a night version of each of the six interiors, under the same ER01 to ER06 numbers. KAYOU's page files them as "day" and "night"; the card face carries only the ※ and the number, so the lighting of the art is how you tell the pair apart.

The base tiers, pictured
Ruby Rare (RR01 to RR06). The six Mane Six without a frame, under the same numbers as the Shining Rubies but not their mirror portraits: the art is different. About one a box.

Colorful Rare (CR01 to CR12). Two per Mane Six in full-character art, the base version of the Shining Colorfuls: Twilight and Spike in a magic bubble, Fluttershy and a dragon's jaws, Pinkie Pie among the bees, Applejack and Winona, Rainbow Dash in the clouds, Rarity in the crystal cave, then a second round that ends with Rarity measuring Discord for a suit.

Gold Rare (GR01 to GR12). Two of each Mane Six with 3D foil stamping, Twilight Sparkle to Rarity and round again. The first six share their numbers and rules text with the Shining Golds; the art is different.

Silver Rare (SR01 to SR14). The Mane Six, Spike, Discord, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Daring Do, Philomena and Big McIntosh. Discord's Silver Rare (SR08) is his best card in the set, and Philomena carries both the Phoenix and the Pet trait.

Emerald Rare (ER01 to ER06). The six interiors: Golden Oak Library Floor 2, Living Room of Fluttershy's Cottage, Storefront of Sugarcube Corner, Backyard of Sweet Apple Acres, Rainbow Pool in Cloudsdale and Fitting Room of Carousel Boutique. Each gives its own pony +1 Inspiration for a Contact, and each is the inside of a Series 1 exterior Scene.

Sapphire Rare (SPR01 to SPR28). Twenty-one events and seven items. The events: Today's Checklist, Friendship Letter, Arrange the Bookshelf, Sound Asleep, Physical Training, It is Pinkie's Line Anyway, Rope Skipping, Harvest Corn, Zap Apple Season, Old House Demolition, Hold back from the Brink, A Sip of Coffee, Laundry Works, Juice the Grape, Toss and Catch'em, Rainbow Dash Fan Club, Visit the Sculpture Garden, Pet Day, Pregame Talk, Picnic Day and Venture to the Temple. The items, which a Character is "adorned" with: Smartypants, Daring Do's Adventure, Party Cannon, Party Cart, Fire Ruby, Intelligence Toys and Seeds of Truth.

Uncommon (U01 to U18). Two of each Mane Six, Spike, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and two Discords.

Common (C01 to C48). Two of each Mane Six, two Spikes, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Discord, Zecora, Granny Smith, Filthy Rich, Diamond Tiara, Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake, then the 24 Story cards pictured earlier.

Pull rates
KAYOU prints the DISCORD!!! production ratio on the official series page, and it is word for word the Nightmare Night ratio; the Fantasy Wonderland page leaves Uncommon and Sapphire out of the fourteen-pack pool. In every 20 packs:
- 6 packs hold two Commons, two Uncommon or Sapphire cards and one Emerald Rare.
- 14 packs hold two Commons, one Uncommon or Sapphire, one card from the pool that runs Uncommon, Sapphire, Silver Rare, Ruby Rare, Gold Rare, Colorful Rare, Shining Gold, Shining Sapphire, Shining Colorful or Shining Ruby, and one Emerald or Shining Emerald.
KAYOU's note on the page says the ratio is based on a single pack, so a box is not a promise of a particular card, and the page prints the same ratio for both NA item codes. Worked across a case the way our Fantasy Wonderland guide does it, the ratio puts the Shining Ruby at about one per 32-box case, the Shining Colorful at about one per eight boxes, the Shining Sapphire at about one per four boxes, and about one Ruby Rare, one Shining Gold and one Shining Emerald a box, with about two Gold Rares, two Colorful Rares and seven Silver Rares alongside.
How the chase tiers rank
KAYOU prints its odds per pack. The box and case figures are averages across 20-pack boxes, not a promise for any one box. DISCORD!!! has 191 cards, 5 to a pack.
| Tier | Cards in set | Odds per pack | On average | One specific card |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shining Ruby Rare (RR※) | 6 | 1 in 640 packs | About 1 per case (32 boxes) | About 1 in 192 boxes |
| Shining Colorful Rare (CR※) | 12 | 1 in 160 packs | About 1 per 8 boxes | About 1 in 96 boxes |
| Shining Sapphire Rare (SPR※) | 11 | 1 in 80 packs | About 1 per 4 boxes | About 1 in 44 boxes |
| Shining Gold Rare (GR※) | 6 | 1 in 20 packs | About 1 per box | About 1 in 6 boxes |
| Shining Emerald Rare (ER※) | 12 | 1 in 20 packs | About 1 per box | About 1 in 12 boxes |
| Ruby Rare (RR) | 6 | 1 in 20 packs | About 1 per box | About 1 in 6 boxes |
| Colorful Rare (CR) | 12 | 1 in 10 packs | About 2 per box | About 1 in 6 boxes |
| Gold Rare (GR) | 12 | 1 in 10 packs | About 2 per box | About 1 in 6 boxes |
| Silver Rare (SR) | 14 | 1 in 2.9 packs | About 7 per box | About 1 in 2 boxes |
Same number, different card. ※BP02-RR01 Twilight Sparkle is the Shining version of BP02-RR01 Twilight Sparkle: the same number and rules text with different art. In a listing title the ※ before the number is the only difference, so check for it before you pay a Shining price. The Shining Emeralds share the base Emeralds' numbers in a day and a night version, so one number covers three different cards.
KAYOU prints DISCORD!!!'s pack make-up but no odds for each tier, so the odds shown are the Fantasy Wonderland table, which fits the same make-up exactly. Card counts from KAYOU's DISCORD!!! series page; odds from KAYOU's Fantasy Wonderland ratio sheet. “One specific card” is the tier’s odds spread evenly across its cards.
What the set adds to a deck
Three things, all visible on the card faces. Discord is playable. His Common, two Uncommons and Silver Rare carry the Draconequis and Villain traits, and his text is about disruption: the Silver Rare removes a Plan from your rival's Story Area when it leaves play, one Uncommon discards a random card from your rival's hand, the other sends a rival Scene to the bottom of their Scene Deck. Pets matter. Philomena is a Phoenix and a Pet, Pet Day gives every Pet in your Adventure Area +1 Inspiration, and Fluttershy's Colorful, Gold and Silver Rares all count or reward the Pets beside her. Items adorn. The seven Sapphire items attach to a Character and change its Inspiration or give it an ability: Party Cannon only adorns Pinkie Pie, Daring Do's Adventure lets its Character tap to move to an empty slot, and Fire Ruby can be cashed in for +2 Inspiration in a Contact.
The six interiors are the other change. Each Emerald names its pony, so a mono-character deck built on one of the Mane Six now has an inside and an outside Scene that both boost her, one from this set and one from Fantasy Wonderland.
How the game plays, in one section
If you are coming to the game with this set, here is the shape of it. A deck is a 50-card Main Deck of Characters, Events and Items, a 15-card Scene Deck, four Story cards in stages one to four, and one Main Character card. You start with five cards in hand and put the top four cards of your Main Deck face down on your Story cards as Plans.
Each turn runs Starting, Main, Contact and End. Scenes are tapped to pay Force of Harmony, the cost of playing cards. In the Contact Phase your three Adventure lanes face your rival's three. Where you both have a Character, the higher Inspiration wins and the loser retires. Where only you have one, you take an action: promote your Main Character up the Story, or intervene on one of your rival's Plans to slow them down. You win by promoting your Main Character to the stage four Story card, or when your rival has to draw from an empty Main Deck. A game takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
A booster contains no rules and no ready-made deck. If nobody in the house plays yet, start with a Friendships Begin starter deck and add DISCORD!!! boosters to it. Our how-to-play guide has the full walkthrough, and the starter deck comparison helps you pick a deck.
How DISCORD!!! compares with Fantasy Wonderland and Nightmare Night
All three sets play together, and all three use the same 20-pack box, the same 13-tier ladder and the same printed pull ratio. The differences are in the source material and the cast. Fantasy Wonderland introduced the Mane Six and the six exterior locations from Season 1. Our Fantasy Wonderland card-list guide pictures that set tier by tier. DISCORD!!! is the Season 2 set: six episodes as Story cards, the interiors of those six locations, Discord, Daring Do, Philomena and the Cake twins in the card pool, and the Daring Do art on the Shining Golds. Nightmare Night is the first set with original Hasbro stories, the first with Nightmare Moon, Luna, Chrysalis and Sombra, and the first with a token mechanic.
For collectors, the pattern across all three is that the six Shining Ruby Mane Six lead each set's market, followed by the Shining Colorfuls. Our DISCORD!!! value guide has the dated sold figures for this set, tier by tier, and is the page to read before you pay a Shining price.
Buying DISCORD!!! in Australia
The DISCORD!!! NA booster box is in stock and dispatched from NSW, and the rest of the game is on the My Little Pony TCG hub. The NA print is the one KAYOU's Australian distributor still supplies; the SEA print was a single run and we no longer list it. If a product page ever shows a dispatch date instead of a stock count, that is a pre-order against our next delivery, and the date on the page is the one to plan around.
The box is 20 packs of five cards, 100 cards in total, and a full box gives you the best odds at the Shining tiers. There is no single-pack listing for this set.
Things that are easy to get wrong
Two NA item codes, one card list. KAYOU's page lists MLP-KP-WXSK-002B-NA (20 packs a box, 32 boxes a carton) and MLP-KP-WXSK-002A-NA (12 packs a box, 16 boxes a carton, dated August 2026). Same 191 cards, same printed ratio, different box. Ours is the 20-pack 002B box.
It is not the Friendship Eternal line. KAYOU also makes My Little Pony collectible cards with no gameplay. DISCORD!!! is Booster Pack 02 of the trading card game, card code BP02, and it only plays with the other TCG sets. Our series explainer walks through the difference.
"1st Edition" is printed on every card. The English cards carry a small "1st Edition" mark beside the card number. It is the print run's stamp, not a separate product, so a listing that charges extra for "first edition" is charging extra for the only edition there is.
The Chinese print shares the numbers. BP02-RR01 is the same card number in both languages, and plenty of listings never say which print they are. English boxes carry the MLP-KP-WXSK-002B-NA code and English card text.
"BP02" is not only ponies. The same code is a Yu-Gi-Oh Battle Pack, a Shadowverse Evolve set and an Azur Lane set, so a bare code search turns up more of those than ponies. Add "pony" or a character's name.
Promo-stamped Colorful Rares are a different card. Launch events and distributor bundles handed out Colorful Rares BP02-CR01 to CR06 with a promo stamp. They are not the Shining Colorfuls and not pack pulls; do not read one as the other.
KAYOU's own page mislabels two tiers. The official series page lists the first Gold Rare as "BP03-GR01" and the six Shining Golds as "※BP01-GR01" to "GR06". The cards themselves read BP02-GR01 and ※BP02-GR01 to GR06, and those are the codes to search.
The ※ is the whole difference in the code. A Shining Ruby and a Ruby Rare share a number and rules text but not a picture: the Shining Ruby is the framed mirror portrait. In a listing title the ※ before the BP02 code is all that separates them, so look for it before you pay a Shining price.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many cards are in My Little Pony TCG DISCORD!!!?
191 card types across 13 rarity tiers, with five cards in every pack and 20 packs in the display box. The ladder matches Fantasy Wonderland exactly: eight base tiers and five Shining parallels.
Which DISCORD!!! cards have a Shining version?
All six Ruby Rares, all twelve Colorful Rares, eleven of the 28 Sapphire Rares (SPR01, 02, 05, 10, 14, 15, 16, 18, 23, 24 and 26), the first six Gold Rares (as the Daring Do adventure art, ※BP02-GR01 to GR06) and every one of the six Emerald interiors twice over, as a day and a night card. The second six Golds (GR07 to GR12) have none.
What are the DISCORD!!! pull rates?
KAYOU prints the ratio on the official series page. Six packs in every 20 hold two Commons, two Uncommon or Sapphire cards and an Emerald; the other 14 swap one of those for a single card from the Silver Rare up to Shining Ruby pool and may upgrade the Emerald to a Shining Emerald. Worked across a case, that averages one Ruby Rare, one Shining Gold and one Shining Emerald a box, a Shining Sapphire about every four boxes, a Shining Colorful about every eight and a Shining Ruby about once a 32-box case.
Which Season 2 episodes are in DISCORD!!!?
The six Story cards are Lesson Zero, Hurricane Fluttershy, Baby Cakes, The Last Roundup, May the Best Pet Win! and Sweet and Elite, one per Mane Six, in four stages each. Events and items reach into Secret of My Excess, Read It and Weep, Family Appreciation Day, The Mysterious Mare Do Well and The Return of Harmony.
Is Discord a chase card in the DISCORD!!! set?
No. Discord's own cards are a Common (C18), two Uncommons (U17 and U18) and a Silver Rare (SR08), none with a Shining version. He appears in the background of the Ruby Rare art and in Rarity's twelfth Colorful Rare. The chase cards are the Mane Six, twice over: six Shining Rubies and twelve Shining Colorfuls.
What is the difference between the 002A and 002B DISCORD!!! boxes?
Both are the North American English print with the same 191 cards and the same printed ratio. 002B is the 20-pack display box, 32 boxes to a carton, and the one we stock; 002A is a 12-pack box, 16 to a carton. Neither is a different card set.
Can I play DISCORD!!! cards with Fantasy Wonderland and Nightmare Night?
Yes. All three are sets of the same game and share one rulebook, so cards from any of them go into the same 50-card Main Deck alongside the Friendships Begin starter cards. The DISCORD!!! interiors and the Fantasy Wonderland exteriors are built to be played together.
Where can I buy DISCORD!!! in Australia?
We stock the sealed English DISCORD!!! NA booster box and the rest of the My Little Pony TCG range, dispatched from NSW.
