My Little Pony TCG Hearth's Warming Eve: The Most Valuable Cards (and Pull Rates)

My Little Pony TCG Hearth's Warming Eve, the Christmas set: the six Shining Ruby Rares and the rest of the chase ranked by pull rate, what the same tiers sold for in the first two sets, and when this page gets completed eBay Australia sales for the set itself.

Hearth's Warming Eve is the Christmas set of the English My Little Pony Trading Card Game, and the first boxes were opened in North America on 30 October 2026. This page is the price read for it: which of the 197 cards are the chase, how rare each tier is in a 20-pack box, what the same tiers sold for in the first two English sets, and when this page gets completed eBay Australia sales for Hearth's Warming Eve itself.

Everything here is about the English print (KAYOU item code MLP-KP-NLQH-004B-NA, card prefix BP04), the North American box that KAYOU's Australian distributor supplies. Our Hearth's Warming Eve card-list guide pictures every tier with its card numbers and explains the Present tokens; this page ranks the pulls.

Sold prices: none yet for this set. English Hearth's Warming Eve singles have been selling in North America only since 30 October 2026, which is not enough completed sales to report. This page follows the same rules as our other chase-card pages: every figure must be a completed eBay Australia sale, a card needs three sales before it gets a row and five before it gets a median, and Best Offer sales are counted but never priced. The first Hearth's Warming Eve capture runs once the set has a month of English sales, in late November 2026, and the figures go here. Until then no Hearth's Warming Eve card carries a dollar figure on this page; the figures lower down are DISCORD!!! and Fantasy Wonderland sales from the 30 September 2026 capture, shown for the pattern.

Quick Answer: The rarest cards in Hearth's Warming Eve are the six Shining Ruby Rare (RR※) Mane Six, ※BP04-RR01 to RR06, printed at one per 640 packs, which is one card in a 32-box case. Below them sit the twelve Shining Colorful Rares (CR※) at one per 8 boxes, the eleven Shining Sapphires at one per 4 boxes, and then two Shining tiers every box returns one of: the six Shining Gold Pillars of Equestria and the twelve Shining Emerald scenes. In the first two English sets the Shining Rubies led the market by a wide margin and the Shining Colorfuls were the most-traded chase, and nothing in this set's structure changes that order.

How the Hearth's Warming Eve rarity ladder works

The set has 197 card types across 14 tiers, five cards a pack, 20 packs a box and 32 boxes a case, as KAYOU's series page lists it. Card images on this page are KAYOU's own, from that page (North American print). The shape is the one the first three sets share: eight base tiers, and the top five each get a Shining (※) parallel that shares the base card's number but not its picture. New this set is a sixth non-chase tier, the six Present tokens.

    TierNameCard typesWhat it is

The ※ printed before the number is the only difference in the code: ※BP04-CR05 and BP04-CR05 are two different Rainbow Dash cards with two different pictures. Read a listing title for the ※ before you compare it with anything on this page.

    Pull rates: what KAYOU publishes

KAYOU prints the Hearth's Warming Eve pack make-up on the series page but no odds per tier. Six packs in every 20 carry a Common, a Common or a Present token, two Uncommon or Sapphire cards and an Emerald; the other 14 swap one of those for a single card from the Silver Rare up to Shining Ruby pool and can upgrade the Emerald to a Shining Emerald. That is the Fantasy Wonderland make-up with one change, the token taking a Common's place, which leaves the chase slot as it was. So the per-tier odds below are KAYOU's Fantasy Wonderland table worked across this set's tier sizes, the same table our Nightmare Night and DISCORD!!! pages use.

KAYOU prints its odds per pack. The box and case figures are averages across 20-pack boxes, not a promise for any one box. Hearth's Warming Eve has 197 cards, 5 to a pack.

Same number, different card. ※BP04-RR01 Twilight Sparkle is the Shining version of BP04-RR01 Twilight Sparkle: the same number and rules text with different art. In a listing title the ※ before the number is the only difference, so check for it before you pay a Shining price. The Shining Emeralds come in two colour versions of each scene, marked A and B after the number (※BP04-ER01-A and ※BP04-ER01-B), and the six Shining Golds are the Pillars of Equestria only, ※BP04-GR07 to GR12.

KAYOU prints Hearth's Warming Eve's pack make-up but no odds for each tier, so the odds shown are the Fantasy Wonderland table, which fits the same make-up. The one change in the make-up is that a Present token can take a Common's place in 6 packs of every 20, which leaves the chase slot as it was. The 5-pack bundles are a different product, so these odds are for the 20-pack box. Card counts from KAYOU's Hearth's Warming Eve series page; odds from KAYOU's Fantasy Wonderland ratio sheet. “One specific card” is the tier’s odds spread evenly across its cards.

A box is never empty: it returns a Ruby Rare, a Shining Gold and a Shining Emerald, two each of Gold and Colorful Rare and about seven Silver Rares. The three tiers above that are the chase, and one case in the country holds a Shining Ruby.

Shining Ruby Rare: the six cards to hunt

Six cards, one per 32-box case, the thinnest supply in the set. Each is a full-art Mane Six gift-wrapping scene in an ornate gold frame with the artist's signature and no gameplay text: Twilight Sparkle holding up the tree star beside Spike, Fluttershy in a knitted jumper among snow globes, Pinkie Pie tangled in fairy lights, Applejack in an apple-print jumper, Rainbow Dash wrapping goggles and Rarity choosing jewellery.

The six Shining Ruby Rare cards of Hearth's Warming Eve: Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity

In DISCORD!!! only one of the six Shining Rubies, Fluttershy's, had five firm eBay Australia sales in 90 days; the other five changed hands once or twice each, mostly as accepted Best Offers whose prices stay private. Expect the same shape here: a card that surfaces a few times a quarter, usually with a Best Offer attached, and Fluttershy's as the one most likely to carry a readable price first. Her Hearth's Warming Eve Ruby, the jumper and snow globes, is also the one with the most obvious gift-card appeal.

Shining Colorful Rare: the tier a box opener can actually hit

Twelve signature-stamped alternate arts at one per 8 boxes, in two sets of six. ※BP04-CR01 to CR06 are the family dinners: Twilight at the table with Spike, Shining Armor and Cadance; Fluttershy with Discord round for dessert; Pinkie Pie serving the Pie family; Applejack with Apple Bloom, Big McIntosh and Granny Smith; Rainbow Dash blushing at her parents' photo album; Rarity with Sweetie Belle and their parents. ※BP04-CR07 to CR12 put the Mane Six on stage in their pageant costumes from the founding of Equestria.

The twelve Shining Colorful Rare cards of Hearth's Warming Eve, two of each Mane Six

This was the most-traded chase tier in both earlier sets, and the only ※ tier where a single quarter produced medians. The Discord dinner card (※BP04-CR02, Fluttershy) is the one to watch: Fluttershy led both Shining tiers in DISCORD!!!, and this card pairs her with the character that set was named after.

Shining Gold, Shining Sapphire and Shining Emerald

The six Shining Golds are the Pillars of Equestria, each shown in their element: Star Swirl the Bearded in his study, Mistmane in a village street, Rockhoof against a volcano, Flash Magnus facing a dragon, Somnambula mid-leap and Mage Meadowbrook with a potion. One comes in every box, so they trade often and cheaply, as the DISCORD!!! and Fantasy Wonderland Golds do. Two things could lift them above that pattern: this is the first set to give the whole Shining Gold tier to characters outside the Mane Six, and Star Swirl is now on his second Shining Gold in a row, after Nightmare Night.

The six Shining Gold Rare cards of Hearth's Warming Eve, the Pillars of Equestria

The eleven Shining Sapphires are the sleeper tier again: full-art versions of Build a Snowpony, Hearth's Warming Doll, The Birth of Equestria, Decorate the House, Baking Lesson, Muted, Upside Down, Holder's Boulder, Alicorn Emblem, Magic Emblem and Rarity's Tent, at one per 4 boxes. In DISCORD!!! two of the eleven sold often enough for a median and sat above the one-per-box Golds. The Shining Emeralds are the six scenes in full colour, each in an A and a B colour version (※BP04-ER01-A and ※BP04-ER01-B, and so on), one per box; the base Emerald is the same scene as coloured line art, so the Shining is the only full-colour print of each scene, which is the one structural reason this tier could outsell its DISCORD!!! equivalent.

What the same tiers sold for in DISCORD!!! and Fantasy Wonderland

These are the figures to read Hearth's Warming Eve against until it has its own. Both tables come from one capture of completed eBay Australia sales, and they count only cards with five or more completed sales, so a tier with a zero in the second column is a tier that traded too thinly for a median, not one that sold for nothing.

Three patterns carry over. The Shining Ruby, where it sells at all, sells for several times the next tier. The Shining Colorful is where most of the chase money changes hands, because one box in eight hides one. And the one-per-box Shining Golds, for all their lenticular finish, settle in the same band as the base Colorful and Gold Rares. Fantasy Wonderland's Shining tiers had too few coded sales in the window for medians, which says how thinly they traded, not what they fetched; its per-card figures are on our Fantasy Wonderland chase card guide, and DISCORD!!!'s on its own page.

Why the Christmas set may not follow the pattern exactly

Supply first. KAYOU's Australian distributor receives Hearth's Warming Eve on 27 November 2026, four weeks after North America, and some North American shops listed their allocation as limited or in-store only at release. A set that is hard to find sealed in its first weeks tends to see its chase cards listed by openers rather than by shops, which keeps early sold counts low and early asking prices high; neither of those is a figure this page will report.

Then the calendar. This is the first set of the game with a holiday on the cards, and the gift-wrapping Shining Rubies and the family-dinner Shining Colorfuls are the kind of art that gets bought as a present rather than as a deck piece. Nightmare Night's Halloween theme sits in a similar place, and its English singles are not in our capture yet either, so the first Hearth's Warming Eve read will be the first evidence of whether a themed set prices differently from the first two.

And the cast. Sets one and two gave every Shining tier but the Sapphires to the Mane Six. Hearth's Warming Eve hands the Shining Golds to the Pillars of Equestria, so a collector who wants Star Swirl, Somnambula or Mage Meadowbrook in a Shining frame has exactly one set to buy. Whether that moves a one-per-box card is the most interesting open question in the set.

How to check a price yourself

There is still no price guide for this game, and the general card-price sites lump a ※ Shining and its base card under one number. eBay sold listings are the only real evidence. Search the card number (for example "BP04-RR01"), add "pony" or "Kayou", filter to sold and completed, and read the spread rather than the top result. Our KAYOU My Little Pony card value guide walks through the same method for the Friendship Eternal line.

Three things to watch. First, the Chinese print of this set shares the BP04 numbering and plenty of listings never state the language. Second, KAYOU's own series page codes the twelve Gold Rares as BP02 and BP03 cards, and the faces print BP04, so a seller copying the page can list a Hearth's Warming Eve Gold under a DISCORD!!! or Nightmare Night code. Third, the two Shining Emerald versions of each scene share a number and differ only by the A or B after it, and the Present tokens carry no BP04 prefix at all (TK-02 to TK-07), so a code search misses them.

    Protect the pull

Every ※ card in this set is foil-stamped or lenticular, and the surface scratches if you thumb it. Sleeve straight from the pack, then toploader anything RR※ or CR※. The A and B Shining Emerald pairs are worth more to a collector kept together than split up, and a Present token kept with its pony's Story cards makes a cleaner lot than a loose token.

Buying Hearth's Warming Eve in Australia

The sealed English Hearth's Warming Eve booster box is on pre-order with us now: you are charged at checkout, the box is dispatched from NSW by 12 December 2026, in time for Christmas, and a full refund is yours if we miss that date. Twenty packs of five cards, 100 cards, from the 197 above. If you want cards before December, Nightmare Night is in stock and plays with everything here.

    If you don't play yet

A Hearth's Warming Eve box widens a card pool. It doesn't teach the game, and there are no rules or ready-to-play decks inside. If nobody in the house plays yet, start with a Friendships Begin starter deck: each of the six is a complete 70-card deck built around one of the Mane Six, with the full rules on the back of its playmat, and any two different decks make a two-player game. Our starter deck comparison walks through all six, and our how-to-play guide covers setup, the four phases and how you win. Once you have a deck you like, Hearth's Warming Eve boosters are how you build on it, and the pull odds above are what a box of them gives you.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the rarest card in My Little Pony TCG Hearth's Warming Eve?

The six Shining Ruby Rare (RR※) Mane Six cards, ※BP04-RR01 to RR06, printed at one per 640 packs, which is one card per 32-box case. They are full-art gift-wrapping scenes with the artist's signature and no gameplay text.

How much does a Hearth's Warming Eve Shining Ruby Rare sell for?

There is no figure yet. The English set has only been selling since 30 October 2026, and this page reports completed eBay Australia sales only once a card has three of them, with a median at five. The first capture for this set runs in late November 2026 and its tables go on this page, dated. The DISCORD!!! table above shows what that tier did in the previous set.

Which Hearth's Warming Eve cards are worth the most?

By scarcity, the Shining Rubies, then the Shining Colorfuls, then the Shining Sapphires. In the first two English sets that was also the order of sold prices, with the Shining Colorfuls the tier most pulls actually come from. The Shining Golds and Shining Emeralds come one to a box and have sold in the same band as the base Colorful and Gold Rares.

Is every Hearth's Warming Eve booster box guaranteed a rare card?

Yes. KAYOU's ratio gives every 20-pack box one Ruby Rare, one Shining Gold Rare and one Shining Emerald Rare, with about seven Silver Rares and two each of Gold and Colorful Rare. The RR※, CR※ and SPR※ tiers are not guaranteed and land at one per case, one per 8 boxes and one per 4 boxes respectively.

Are the Present tokens worth anything?

They are the set's new rule rather than a chase: six Common-slot cards, one Present for each of the Mane Six, numbered TK-02 to TK-07 with no BP04 prefix. Players need them, so they trade, but they sit at the bottom of the ladder with the Commons and Uncommons.

When will this page have Hearth's Warming Eve prices?

After the set's first capture of completed eBay Australia sales, in late November 2026, once there is a month of English sales to read. The capture date will be printed above the tables, as it is on our DISCORD!!! and Fantasy Wonderland pages, and the figures are refreshed monthly.

Where can I buy Hearth's Warming Eve in Australia?

We sell the sealed English Hearth's Warming Eve booster box on pre-order, dispatched from NSW by 12 December 2026, alongside the rest of the My Little Pony TCG range.
