About this product
What's in Rainbow Dash's deck
Rainbow Dash's starter is the best-documented of the six Friendships Begin decks. The sealed box holds her complete 70-card build — 50-card Main Deck, 15-card Scene Deck, her Ruby Rare Main Character card and 4 Story Cards — plus 3 five-card booster packs and the paper playmat that carries the rules on its back. Confirmed cards from unboxings include Cloudominium, an Emerald Rare Scene, and a trio of Sapphire Rares: Prank Sneeze Powder, Hoofshake Buzzer! and Rushing Rescue, with Scootaloo and Tank appearing through the deck.
How Rainbow Dash plays
Her Story arc is 'The Best Young Flyer': Rainbow Dash overcoming her nerves to win the Grand Prize. One confirmed card fits the theme: Prank Sneeze Powder, a Sapphire Rare Item costing 3 Force of Harmony that adds 2 Inspiration, a Character's strength in a Contact. Beyond that card, KAYOU and reviewers haven't published a strategy breakdown for this deck, so we won't invent one.
How the MLP TCG works
Every card you play costs Force of Harmony, and what you're building with it is Inspiration, a Character's strength when it meets a rival in a Contact. A turn cycles Starting, Main, Contact and End phases; your side of the table splits into Scene, Story, Retirement and Adventure areas, and the Adventure area holds up to 3 of your characters at once. Promote your Main Character to the stage four Story card and you win; empty your opponent's Main Deck and you also win. Expect 20–30 minutes a game, ages 6 and up.
NA print vs SEA print
This page sells the NA print. NA decks reach us inside the sealed six-deck Friendships Begin display, which we break into single character decks — each deck box wears its own barcode. The SEA print of Rainbow Dash's deck has its own listing; both prints are the same English game product, so pick whichever print run you prefer to collect.
