The lid is printed with the main ponies at a spooky party, the same artwork family as the booster box.

The booster box is the choice for opening a lot of packs: 20 packs for the set. The gift box is a smaller opening with the accessories included. You get 5 packs, the exclusive costume pack, sleeves and an album, which suits a present or a first purchase better than a display of packs.
The boosters inside are standard Nightmare Night packs from the same 190-card set, so the cards play alongside Fantasy Wonderland, Discord and the Friendships Begin starter decks.
