Twenty sealed booster packs of 5 cards — 100 cards in total — from Fantasy Wonderland, Series 1 of the English My Little Pony Trading Card Game. Wholesale cartons hold 32 boxes.
The set runs 191 card types across 13 rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Silver Rare (SR), Sapphire Rare (SPR), Emerald Rare (ER), Gold Rare (GR), Colorful Rare (CR) and Ruby Rare (RR), plus a Shining (※) parallel of each of the top five. Every pack carries an ER location card.
Chase cards to look for
The top of the ladder is the Shining Ruby Rare (RR※): six full-art Mane Six cards — Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity — with a rainbow lenticular border and no gameplay text at all. KAYOU's production ratio puts one RR※ in every 640 packs, which is one card per 32-box case.
Beneath it sit the twelve Shining Colorful Rare (CR※) alternate arts at one per 8 boxes, the eleven Shining Sapphire (SPR※) event cards at one per 4 boxes, and the Shining Gold (GR※) and Shining Emerald (ER※) tiers at one each per box. The regular RR, GR and CR Mane Six cards are the mid-tier hits, with GR and CR landing about twice a box.
Where the value sits
Fantasy Wonderland singles already have a real secondary market, and the value sits in the Shining tiers. The six Shining Ruby Rares are the most valuable cards in the set, with the Shining Colorful and Shining Gold Rares a clear step below them. Regular Gold and Colorful Rares sell for a small fraction of any Shining card.

How the MLP TCG works
Unlike KAYOU's Friendship Eternal collectible cards, this is a real game. It runs on two numbers: Force of Harmony, the cost you pay to put cards into play, and Inspiration, a Character's strength when it meets a rival in a Contact.
Turns move through four phases — Starting, Main, Contact and End — across a board split into Scene, Story, Retirement and Adventure areas, with up to 3 characters in play on your Adventure. You win by promoting your Main Character to the stage four Story card, or when their Main Deck runs out of cards. Games run about 20–30 minutes, and the game is rated ages 6 and up.
Boosters aren't a starting point on their own
A booster box expands a card pool; it does not teach the game or give you a playable deck out of the wrapper. There are no rules printed on a booster box.
The Friendships Begin starter decks are the entry point — each is a complete 70-card pre-built deck with a paper playmat carrying the rules on its reverse, and any two different character decks make a two-player game. Buy a starter first, then use Fantasy Wonderland boosters to deepen it.
