tokidoki Range
KAYOU Wonder Voyage collectible cards and tokidoki's own Unicorno figures on one page.
Shop tokidokiYou have decided you want a tokidoki figure. Then you open the shop page and find Unicorno blind boxes, Twinsies, Frenzies, Unicorno Lite, Mystery Packs, Fumo, Cuddles, Soft and Sweet, and a 10 inch Stellina, all wearing the same cast of characters. It is not obvious which one gives you a shelf figure, which one gives you a keychain, and which one gives you something soft.
This is the "which one should I buy" page. It walks through every tokidoki blind box format we know of, what the figures are made of, how big each one is, and how to read a box before you pay. Where a size or ratio comes from tokidoki's own product pages we say so; where it comes from collectors, we say that too.
Quick Answer
tokidoki blind boxes work the same way as Pop Mart and Labubu boxes: a sealed box, a random figure inside, one rare chaser per set. The difference is what is in the box. Every tokidoki format uses one artist's cast, Simone Legno's Unicornos, Mermicornos, and friends, so a Twinsies pair and a 10 inch figure are the same characters at different sizes. The standard blind-box figure is vinyl and about 7 centimetres tall, and tokidoki prints the chaser ratio, 1 in 48, on its standard Unicorno product pages. For a first purchase, the standard Unicorno blind box is the pick for a shelf, Twinsies for a desk, and Soft and Sweet if you want plush. Browse the sealed range on our tokidoki figures page.
What tokidoki Figures Are Made Of
The figures in a standard blind box, Twinsies, Unicorno Lite, Capsule Cuties, and the larger single pieces are vinyl, the same broad material family as most designer toys. The plush formats are fabric, and Soft and Sweet is described by tokidoki as a vinyl plush: a soft body with a vinyl face and details.
Some sets add a finish on top: flocking, transparent sections, and metallic details on After Dark Masquerade, iridescent parts on Magical Tides Mermicornos, translucent or chrome on Unicorno Lite. None of this changes the material underneath.
The Standard Unicorno Blind Box
This is the format most people mean when they say "a tokidoki". One sealed retail box holds one random figure in a silver foil bag, with any accessory sealed separately in a pink foil bag. A set has nine to 12 designs including the chaser, and tokidoki prints "Chaser ratio: 1 in 48" on its standard Unicorno product pages. Boxes ship to shops in cases of eight, and tokidoki's own pages warn that eight boxes do not equal a full set and may include duplicates.
Standard figures stand about 2.75 inches, or roughly 70 millimetres, and that height is shared across most current sets, from After Dark Masquerade and Skeleton to Magical Tides Mermicorno and the Hello Kitty and Friends collaborations. A few named sets run smaller on the same box format: Shaved Ice Dreams and Baby Unicorno are about 2.25 inches (57 millimetres), while Beverage Besties runs larger at about 3.2 inches (81 millimetres).
For the mechanics in full, chasers, cases, secret variants, and buying without overseas postage, read our Unicorno blind box guide for Australia. The After Dark series guide covers the Masquerade and Skeleton sets specifically.
Twinsies: Two Figures in One Box
Twinsies is a standard-sized blind box that holds a matched pair of small Unicornos instead of one figure. The current Twinsies Unicorno set has nine pairs, the chaser pair is Milky and Cookie, and tokidoki prints the same 1 in 48 ratio on the product page. Each figure is about 1.75 inches (44 millimetres), so a pair takes up roughly the footprint of one standard Unicorno.
tokidoki also sells a Twinsies Gamer and Streamer Special Edition, a named pair sold openly with no blind element. The blind box version is on our tokidoki Twinsies Unicorno blind box page.
Frenzies and the Keychain Formats
Frenzies are keychain-format figures: a small character with a dangle attached, sold blind. The line has been around for years, and collectors still hunt older sets such as the 2012 Punkstar Frenzies, where one r/Tokidoki poster was searching for Grinder having already found Maxx and Styx. tokidoki also lists a Unicorno Lite Bubble Gum Keychain, the Lite figure with a keychain fitting.
The trap for a first-timer is the box art. A collector on r/Tokidoki in August 2026 noticed that the insert card in a Frenzies box showed full-size figures while the contents were keychains, and added that the dangles "don't work well with my displays". If you are buying for a shelf, look for the word Frenzies or keychain before you buy. If you are buying for a bag or a set of keys, Frenzies is exactly the right format.
One more keychain question came up at a convention: a collector bought iridescent 'Til Death Do Us Part keychain figures from a booth, was told they were unreleased, and asked whether they were real or knock-offs. The thread never settled it. Our answer: buy keychain formats from a shop you can trace, with a business name and a returns policy.
Unicorno Lite
Unicorno Lite is the small, lower-commitment blind box. The figures are about 2 inches (roughly 50 millimetres), the sets we have seen use translucent or chrome finishes such as Shimmer Glitter and Liquid Chrome, and a set has seven designs including the chaser. tokidoki prints a different ratio for Lite, 1 in 32, and the display case holds 32 boxes rather than eight. Lite figures look noticeably smaller next to a standard Unicorno.
Mystery Pack
A Mystery Pack is a foil-pack blind format: one random figure sealed in a foil pack rather than a printed box. You lose the box art and the insert card and gain a flatter package that slips into a card. The blind element is identical to a box.
Plush: Fumo, Cuddles, and Soft and Sweet
tokidoki's soft formats come under three names. Fumo is a plush format of Unicorno characters, and some are numbered; a new collector on r/Tokidoki posted their "first Fumo" in August 2026 after pulling the number one figure. Cuddles is another plush line, and collectors have mentioned a past retailer-exclusive Cuddles in the US. tokidoki listed an After Dark Skeleton Fumo on its site in September 2026, so the plush lines follow the current figure sets.
Soft and Sweet is the one we stock, and it is a vinyl plush blind box: a soft-bodied Unicorno with vinyl details, sold random in a sealed box like the figures. It is the format for a younger collector or a gift for someone who does not display figures. See the tokidoki Soft and Sweet vinyl plush blind box page for the current set.
Sizes: From Capsule Cuties to 18 Inches
The same characters appear at every size from a blind bag to a statement piece. Sizes are as printed on tokidoki.it product pages; the two largest are collector-reported from photos on r/Tokidoki.
| Format | Approx height | Designs per set | Blind or open | Case pack |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Capsule Cuties (blind bag) | 1.25 in (about 32 mm) | 9 | Blind | Not stated |
| Twinsies (per figure) | 1.75 in (44 mm) | 9 pairs | Blind | Not stated |
| Unicorno Lite | 2 in (about 50 mm) | 7 | Blind | 32 |
| Shaved Ice Dreams, Baby Unicorno | 2.25 in (57 mm) | 9 | Blind | 8 |
| Standard Unicorno blind box | 2.75 in (70 mm) | 9 to 12 | Blind | 8 (Hello Kitty Pumpkin Spice is 9) |
| Beverage Besties | 3.2 in (81 mm) | 9 | Blind | Not stated |
| 10 inch figure | About 25 cm | Single figure | Open | n/a |
| 18 inch piece (collector-reported) | About 46 cm | Single figure | Open | n/a |
The 10 inch figures are single, non-blind pieces that collectors use as anchors for a display, such as a 10 inch Prim paired with a Hello Kitty figure from another maker. At the top end, a collector posted an 18 inch Chiko Roko Adios from the 'Til Death Do Us Part line and called it the best tokidoki piece they had owned. These are art pieces rather than blind boxes.
The Toy Pool database also lists Metallico, Holiday, and Bambino as Unicorno sub-lines alongside the numbered series. If you see one of those names on an older box, it is a themed Unicorno set rather than a different format.
Special Edition, Chaser, and Limited Edition
Three labels get mixed up, and they matter when you are choosing a format. A chaser is the rarest figure inside a blind box set, packed at the printed ratio rather than evenly. You cannot buy a chaser on purpose from a sealed box; you can only buy boxes and hope, or buy the figure loose from another collector.
A Special Edition is a named single figure sold openly with no blind element, usually in the style of a current set. Examples on tokidoki's site include the After Dark Skeleton Caramelo, the After Dark Masquerade Regal Carousella, and the Magical Tides Mermicorno Electra, which we carry as the Magical Tides Mermicorno Electra Special Edition. If you want one specific design, this is the format that gives it to you. A Limited Edition is also a named single figure sold openly, such as the Series 12 Bambu BB. Both are open, and neither is a chaser.
Reading the Box Before You Buy
Every tokidoki box tells you what is inside if you know where to look. Before you pay, check five things.
- Format. The words "blind box", "Twinsies", "Frenzies", "keychain", "Lite", "Mystery Pack", or "plush" on the front. This is the one that catches people out.
- Series name. After Dark Masquerade, Magical Tides, Shaved Ice Dreams, Pumpkin Spice. This tells you which cast of designs you are drawing from.
- Design count. The insert or the back of the box shows every figure in the set, with the chaser often as a silhouette.
- Chaser ratio. Standard Unicorno pages print 1 in 48 and Lite prints 1 in 32. Treat any other number as collector talk unless tokidoki printed it.
- Case size. Standard sets ship in eights, Hello Kitty Pumpkin Spice in nines, Lite in 32s. A full case is not a full set, and tokidoki says so on its own pages.
For the brand behind all these lines, our what is tokidoki brand guide covers Simone Legno, the character families, and the collaborations.
Which Format Suits a Shelf, a Bag, a Desk, or a Gift
For a shelf, buy the standard Unicorno blind box. At 70 millimetres the figures read clearly from across a room, the sets are designed to line up, and a 10 inch figure or a Special Edition makes a centrepiece. Avoid Frenzies for a shelf unless you are happy to hide the dangle.
For a bag or keys, buy Frenzies or the Unicorno Lite keychain. That is what the dangle is for. Soft and Sweet also works as a bag charm if you prefer something that will not scratch a phone.
For a desk, buy Twinsies. Two small figures in one box give you a pair without a standard figure's worth of space, and Unicorno Lite is the other desk option if you like translucent finishes.
For a gift, match the format to the person. A collector who already displays figures will want the current standard set. Someone new to tokidoki is safer with a plush, a Special Edition where they know exactly what they are getting, or a Twinsies box. A child is better served by a plush than by a small vinyl figure with a removable accessory.
What We Stock
We carry three of the formats above sealed, dispatched from the Central Coast in New South Wales: the After Dark Masquerade Unicorno blind box in the standard 70 millimetre format, the Twinsies Unicorno blind box, and the Soft and Sweet vinyl plush blind box. The tokidoki hub also covers the KAYOU tokidoki Wonder Voyage collectible cards, a separate product that uses the same character art. The shops named in most Reddit threads are US chains, so the local option matters mostly for postage and delivery time. We do not claim any partnership with tokidoki.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a Unicorno blind box and Twinsies?
A standard blind box holds one figure of about 70 millimetres with its accessories where the set has them. Twinsies packs a matched pair of 44 millimetre figures in one box. Both are random within their series, and both print a 1 in 48 chaser ratio on tokidoki's product pages.
Are Frenzies the same as the figures?
No. Frenzies are keychain-format versions of the characters with a dangle attached. Collectors have noted that the insert card can show full-size figures while the contents are keychains, so check the format on the front of the box before you buy for a shelf.
What are tokidoki figures made of?
The blind-box figures, Twinsies, Unicorno Lite, and the larger single pieces are vinyl. Fumo and Cuddles are fabric plush, and Soft and Sweet is a vinyl plush with a soft body and vinyl details. Some sets add flocking, chrome, translucent, or glow finishes on top of the base material.
How big is a 10 inch Unicorno?
About 25 centimetres, roughly three and a half times the height of a standard blind-box figure. It is sold as a single named figure rather than a blind box, so you know exactly which character you are buying.
How is tokidoki different from Pop Mart and Labubu?
The blind-box mechanic is the same: sealed box, random figure, one chaser per set. tokidoki's difference is that every format draws on one artist's cast, so the characters carry across blind boxes, plush, keychains, and large figures. tokidoki also prints its chaser ratio, 1 in 48 for standard Unicorno sets, on its product pages.
Where to Start
If this is your first tokidoki, start with the standard format and a current set. The After Dark Masquerade Unicorno blind box is the full-size figure with the mask and stand, and the rest of the sealed range, including Twinsies and Soft and Sweet, sits on our tokidoki figures page. Buy the format that fits where the figure will live, and read the front of the box before you open it.
