What's in Applejack's deck
The Applejack starter seals in 70 cards: her 50-card Main Deck, a 15-card Scene Deck, the Ruby Rare Applejack Main Character card and 4 Story Cards telling the apple-harvest arc. Three 5-card Friendships Begin booster packs ride along in the box, and the paper playmat brings the rules with it, printed on the reverse. Open it, read the mat, and the deck is ready for a first game.
How Applejack plays
Applejack's deck is driven by its Story: her 4 Story Cards follow the apple harvest coming in, and the arc lands the set's favourite lesson — friendship and teamwork getting a big job done. KAYOU hasn't published a formal archetype for her deck, so we'll stop short of strategy claims; what the Story structure does mean in play is a clear finish line, because promoting her Main Character through all 4 Story stages is one of the game's two ways to win.
How the MLP TCG works
Force of Harmony is what you spend to play cards, and Inspiration is a Character's strength when it meets a rival in a Contact. Play rotates through Starting, Main, Contact and End phases while up to 3 of your characters occupy the Adventure area, alongside Scene, Story and Retirement areas on the table. Victory comes from promoting your Main Character to the stage four Story card, or from your opponent's Main Deck running dry. Two different starter decks are all two players need, games run 20–30 minutes, and it's rated ages 6+.
NA print note
What's listed here is Applejack's NA-print deck, taken from the sealed six-deck display the NA stock arrives as — the individual deck box carries its own barcode. A separately listed SEA print of Applejack's deck exists too; game content is identical English product between the prints, so it's a provenance choice, not a gameplay one.
