The Special Mini Edition is KAYOU's smallest KPop Demon Hunters product: a 41-card set of mini collectible cards sold three at a time in a little sealed hang-tab box, and the first KPop Demon Hunters cards we stocked in Australia. This guide pictures every one of the 41 cards tier by tier with its card number, explains how a Mini Card Box differs from a booster pack, gives KAYOU's tier counts, and says where the two products stand today. There is no gameplay and no value table here: it is the set explainer.
Everything on this page is about the English print (card prefix KPDHM01, item code KPDH-KP-DC-001A-NA). Card images are KAYOU's own, from the official Special Mini Edition series page, which is the North American print, the same print we sell.
Quick Answer: KAYOU's KPop Demon Hunters Special Mini Edition Series 1 has 41 cards across five rarity tiers: 15 SSR Super Spark Rare film stills, 9 HR Holo Rare phone-shaped chibi cards, 8 LR Legacy Rare illustrated portraits, 6 SP Special photocards of HUNTR/X and 3 CR Creative Rare stage shots. The cards come three to a sealed Mini Card Box rather than in a foil pack, and 36 Mini Card Boxes make up the display. KAYOU prints no pull ratio for this set. In Australia the Mini Card Box is on pre-order for dispatch by 13 November 2026 and the display is sold out, with Notify me on its page.
What the Special Mini Edition is
KAYOU makes three KPop Demon Hunters card editions under the Netflix licence. Classic and Energy are full-size cards in ordinary foil packs; the Special Mini Edition is the compact one, a 41-card set of mini cards built for carrying, swapping and clipping to a bag. The cast is the whole film: Rumi, Mira and Zoey of HUNTR/X, the five Saja Boys (Jinu, Abby, Mystery, Romance and Baby) and the sidekicks Derpy and Sussie, drawn in five different styles, one per tier.
The set has no rules text and no decks. You collect it for the artwork, chase the two short tiers at the top, and trade the duplicates, which is exactly what the three-card unit is designed for.
Mini Card Box, not booster pack
KAYOU's packaging line for the set reads "1 carton = 8 boxes, 1 box = 36 packs, 1 pack = 3 cards", and the word "pack" is the trap. The three cards do not come in a foil pack. They come in a small sealed cardboard box with a hang tab, which Banter, KAYOU's Australian distributor, lists as the Mini Card Box, and that is the unit we sell as the single. The display box is 36 of those Mini Card Boxes, 108 cards in all, and the sealed carton is eight displays.
So on our site:
- The Special Mini Edition Mini Card Box is one sealed box of three mini cards.
- The Special Mini Edition Booster Box is the display of 36 Mini Card Boxes, sealed as it left KAYOU.
A display holds 108 cards against a 41-card set, so there is plenty of room for a full set inside one, but KAYOU prints no appearance ratio for the Special Mini Edition, so neither we nor anyone else can promise one.
Card list and rarity tiers
Five tiers, 41 card types. The tier names, codes and counts are KAYOU's, from the official series page, and the numbers are the ones printed on the cards. Every code is KPDHM01, then the tier, then a three-digit number.
| Tier | Name | Card types | Numbers | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SSR | Super Spark Rare | 15 | KPDHM01-SSR-001 to 015 | Landscape film stills in a pixel-art screen frame |
| HR | Holo Rare | 9 | KPDHM01-HR-001 to 009 | Phone-shaped die-cut chibi cards, one per character |
| LR | Legacy Rare | 8 | KPDHM01-LR-001 to 008 | Anime-style illustrated portraits with the name down the side |
| SP | Special | 6 | KPDHM01-SP-001 to 006 | Photocard-style HUNTR/X portraits, two per member |
| CR | Creative Rare | 3 | KPDHM01-CR-001 to 003 | 3D stage shots of Rumi, Mira and Zoey |
The page lists the tiers CR, SP, LR, HR, SSR in that order, from the shortest tier to the longest, and the card numbering runs the other way: the SSR cards are numbered first in KAYOU's own list and the three CR cards last. The tiers below are in KAYOU's order, rarest first.
CR: Creative Rare
Three cards, one per HUNTR/X member: Rumi (CR-001), Mira (CR-002) and Zoey (CR-003), each a 3D render from the film's stage performances, with the Huntr/x logotype across the bottom, the member's name repeated along a diagonal strip and a large CR in the background, on a black KAYOU and Netflix card back. With only three card types in the set's shortest tier, these are the cards a display is opened for.

SP: Special
Six photocards of HUNTR/X, two per member: Rumi is SP-001 and SP-004, Mira SP-002 and SP-005, Zoey SP-003 and SP-006. The design is a K-pop photocard: the member's name in graffiti lettering across the top, a name tag and the KPop Demon Hunters and HUNTR/X logos at the bottom, a music-player strip of play and skip buttons, and a sticker-style inset of the same member in a second pose. The card number sits bottom-left. The second card of each pair is a different portrait and inset, not a reprint of the first.

LR: Legacy Rare
Eight illustrated portraits in an anime style, each with the character's name running down the left edge in big outlined letters and the group logo at the bottom: HUNTR/X for Rumi (LR-001), Mira (LR-002) and Zoey (LR-003), Saja Boys for Jinu (LR-004), Abby (LR-005), Romance (LR-006), Mystery (LR-007) and Baby (LR-008). The Saja Boys are drawn in their demon colouring, yellow-eyed and marked, rather than their stage look. All eight share one pink card back with a gem on it.

HR: Holo Rare
Nine cards cut to the shape of a candy-bar phone with a strap hole at the top, each showing a chibi character on the phone's screen beside the letters HR and the word DATE. The frames are colour-coded by group: HUNTR/X on blue phones for Rumi (HR-001), Mira (HR-002) and Zoey (HR-003); the Saja Boys on pink for Jinu (HR-004), Baby (HR-005) and Abby (HR-006) and on yellow for Mystery (HR-007) and Romance (HR-008); and Derpy and Sussie together on the ninth yellow phone (HR-009, printed as one card named DERPY&SUSSIE). Unlike the other tiers, each HR card has its own phone-shaped back in the matching colour, and the card number is printed small on the screen.

SSR: Super Spark Rare
The longest tier, and the only landscape one: fifteen stills from the film framed as a pixel-art screen with a scrolling ticker along the bottom of the picture and the card number, a heart and a group tag on the bar below it. KAYOU's names for them are scene titles and fan nicknames rather than character names, and the frames come in three colours:
- Pink and purple, HUNTR/X: Interrupted Snacks (SSR-001), Pre-show Ramyeon (SSR-002), In a Hurry (SSR-003), Carb-loading (SSR-004), Snacks (SSR-005).
- Yellow, the Saja Boys and the pairings: Saja boys (SSR-006, the five on stage, tagged SAJABOYS), Jinu & Rumi (SSR-007), MiRomAbby (SSR-008, Mira between Romance and Abby), Zoeystery (SSR-009, Zoey and Mystery), In Denial (SSR-010, the three HUNTR/X members, Rumi and Zoey starstruck and Mira unmoved, also in a yellow frame). The three pairing cards carry a K-POP tag where the others name the group.
- Blue, HUNTR/X close-ups: Zoey (SSR-011), Mira (SSR-012), Rumi (SSR-013), Infatuation (SSR-014), Mesmerized (SSR-015).
All fifteen share one pink landscape card back.

Pull rates
KAYOU's official series page carries a tier count for each of the five tiers and a packaging line, but no appearance probability: the probability panel that the My Little Pony and Winx Club pages print is empty for this set. What the counts do tell you is the shape of the chase. SSR is 15 of the 41 card types and HR another nine, so between them they are more than half the set, while the two tiers most collectors want to finish, SP and CR, are nine cards together. We do not publish pull rates for a set whose maker prints none, and a listing that quotes odds for this set has made them up.
The other KPop Demon Hunters editions
KAYOU's site lists two more editions in the line. Classic Edition Series 1 (item code KPDH-KP-JD-001A-NA) is a full-size set in packs of five, 20 packs a box, released June 2026, and Energy Edition Series 1 (KPDH-KP-NL-001A-NA and 001D-NA) is a full-size set in packs of eight, 12 packs a box, also June 2026. Neither is a mini card, neither shares a card number with this set, and neither is stocked here. What we do have is the next Classic set: the Classic Edition Series 2 NA booster box is on pre-order for its 6 November 2026 release, and everything in the line sits on the KPop Demon Hunters hub.
Buying the Special Mini Edition in Australia
KAYOU released the set in September 2026 and our first consignment landed in October. As this guide goes live, the Mini Card Box is open for pre-order against our next delivery, dispatched from NSW by 13 November 2026: you are charged at checkout, and you can ask for a full refund if we miss the date. The sealed display of 36 is sold out, because the first displays to land were all spoken for; its page carries a Notify me button that emails you once if it comes back. Both are the English North American print, item code KPDH-KP-DC-001A-NA, shipped sealed as our Australian distributor supplied them.
Things that are easy to get wrong
"Pack" means a Mini Card Box. KAYOU's own specs call the three-card unit a pack, so does our product data, and so do many listings. It is a small sealed box, not a foil pack. If a listing shows a foil pack for this set, it is showing a different edition.
Three editions, three card lists. Classic, Energy and Special Mini are separate sets with separate numbering. A Special Mini card always reads KPDHM01; Classic and Energy cards do not, and the Special Mini cards are the only small ones.
The HR cards are meant to be that shape. The phone-shaped Holo Rares are die-cut by KAYOU, strap hole included. A straight-edged HR is not a variant.
KAYOU's scene names are not character names. MiRomAbby, Zoeystery and In Denial are the names printed in KAYOU's list, so search by the card number (SSR-008, SSR-009, SSR-010) rather than by who is in the picture.
No ratio means no ratio. The official page prints none for this set, so any "1 in X" figure attached to it did not come from KAYOU.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many cards are in the KPop Demon Hunters Special Mini Edition?
41 card types across five rarity tiers: 15 SSR Super Spark Rare, 9 HR Holo Rare, 8 LR Legacy Rare, 6 SP Special and 3 CR Creative Rare. Every card is numbered KPDHM01, then its tier and a three-digit number.
What is a Mini Card Box?
The three-card unit the set is sold in: a small sealed cardboard box with a hang tab, holding three mini cards. KAYOU's packaging line calls it a pack, but it is not a foil pack. The display box holds 36 Mini Card Boxes, 108 cards.
Are the Special Mini Edition cards smaller than normal KAYOU cards?
Yes. The Special Mini Edition is KAYOU's mini format, smaller than the full-size cards in the Classic and Energy editions and in KAYOU's other lines, and the HR tier is cut to a phone shape rather than a rectangle.
What are the Special Mini Edition pull rates?
KAYOU does not print an appearance probability for this set, only the tier counts. The rarest tiers by count are CR with three card types and SP with six.
Which characters are in the set?
Rumi, Mira and Zoey of HUNTR/X, the five Saja Boys (Jinu, Abby, Mystery, Romance and Baby) and Derpy and Sussie. HUNTR/X appear in every tier; the Saja Boys are in the LR, HR and SSR tiers; Derpy and Sussie share one HR card.
Is this the same as the Classic or Energy edition?
No. Classic Edition Series 1 and Energy Edition Series 1 are full-size KAYOU sets in foil packs with their own card lists. The Special Mini Edition is the 41-card mini set sold three to a Mini Card Box. We stock the Special Mini Edition and have Classic Edition Series 2 on pre-order.
Is the Special Mini Edition a trading card game?
No. The cards carry no rules text and there are no decks. It is a collectible card series for collecting, completing and trading.
Where can I buy the Special Mini Edition in Australia?
We stock the English Mini Card Box, on pre-order for dispatch by 13 November 2026, and the sealed display of 36, currently sold out with Notify me on its page. The rest of the line is on the KPop Demon Hunters hub, all dispatched from NSW.
