Jin Chapter Series 2 added one tier to the Series 1 ladder, and that one tier rearranged where the money sits. In Series 1 the SE cards are untouchable at the top. In Series 2 the ten AR full-art cards trade level with, and in graded form above, the four SE cards. This guide lists every Series 2 card that sells for real money, using completed eBay Australia sales rather than asking prices.

Sold comps reviewed 29 August 2026. Figures are completed eBay AU sales (June to August 2026) in Australian dollars, shown as a range or median with the number of sales behind it. They are what buyers paid, not what sellers asked. We re-check quarterly.

Quick Answer: The most valuable Jin Chapter Series 2 cards are the Gaara AR (NRSA02-AR-007, raw median A$192, one TAG 10 at A$613), the Sasuke "Windmill Shuriken" AR (NRSA02-AR-010, raw median A$307) and the Gaara SE (NRSA02-SE-002, raw median A$311). The AR full-art tier as a whole is the set's value engine: eight of its ten designs have sold raw above A$100. The four SE cards range from A$145 (Yashamaru) to A$311 (Gaara) depending entirely on character. SP, BP and MR are A$40 to A$120 cards raw, and only worth more graded.

The Series 2 ladder and why AR changed it

Series 2 has 168 card designs across eleven tiers. Scarcest to most common: SE (4), SP (4), AR (10), BP (7), MR (7), PU (8), UR (15), PTR (20, one per pack), SSR (23), SR (20), R (50). The full tier table with value bands is on the KAYOU Naruto card list and price guide.

AR is the new tier: full-bleed character art with no frame, and the first time KAYOU gave the English line a chase card that looks like a poster rather than a trading card. Collectors responded to it more than to the scenario-style SE panoramas, so the market ranks Series 2 roughly AR, then SE, then SP, rather than in printed rarity order. If you are comparing the two sets before buying, Jin Chapter Series 1 vs Series 2 covers the box-level differences.

The AR tier: eight cards over A$100

    CardNumberRaw sold (A$)Graded sold (A$)
    Gaara ARNRSA02-AR-00784 to 461, median 192 (11 sales)TAG 10: 613
Sasuke "Windmill Shuriken" ARNRSA02-AR-010171 to 398, median 307 (5 sales)
    Naruto ARNRSA02-AR-009154 to 307, median 197 (8 sales)
Naruto "Shadow Clone" ARNRSA02-AR-00371 to 367, median 177 (16 sales)
Gaara AR (second design)NRSA02-AR-001131 to 254, median 154 (4 sales)
    Sasuke ARNRSA02-AR-00880 to 244, median 154 (6 sales)TAG 10: 507
    Rock Lee ARNRSA02-AR-002123 (1 sale)
    Shikamaru ARNRSA02-AR-00578 to 154, median 105 (9 sales)PSA 10: 446
    Neji ARNRSA02-AR-00446 to 115, median 97 (3 sales)
    Temari ARNRSA02-AR-00657 to 115, median 65 (6 sales)

Two AR cards deserve a note. The Gaara and Sasuke ARs (007 and 008) are a matched pair from the Chunin Exam fight and often sell together: four pairs went for A$277 to A$399. And the Sasuke Windmill Shuriken AR has the highest raw median in the set, ahead of any SE, which would have been unthinkable in Series 1.

The four SE cards: character decides everything

    CardNumberRaw sold (A$)Graded sold (A$)
    Gaara SENRSA02-SE-002276 to 422, median 311 (4 sales)PSA 10: 318
    Rock Lee SENRSA02-SE-004230 to 430 (3 sales)CGC 10: 209
    Might Guy SENRSA02-SE-003184 to 261, median 215 (3 sales)
    Yashamaru SENRSA02-SE-001102 to 184, median 145 (4 sales)BGS 9.5: 151

All four are equally scarce by design count, and the spread between them is roughly two to one. That is the character premium in its purest form: Gaara is a top-five character in the whole franchise; Yashamaru appears in one flashback. The Series 2 SE set does not include Naruto or Sasuke, which is the main reason Series 2 SEs sit below Series 1 SEs despite identical scarcity.

SP, BP and MR: graded or not worth chasing

The four SP stained-glass cards trade raw around A$45 to A$55 and only reach real money slabbed: two Gaara SP PSA 10s sold at A$307. BP brush-art cards run A$34 to A$115 raw (Hinata BP median A$84 is the strongest); a Neji BP in BGS 10 went for A$384, and a full BP set of seven sold for A$276. MR cards are A$40 to A$60 raw, with PSA 10 Sasuke MRs at A$52 to A$123. If you are weighing up whether a pull is worth the grading fee, our grading guide sets out the thresholds.

    What a box gives you

The Series 2 SEA box is 10 packs of 5 cards with a PTR in every pack, so it is a smaller sealed unit than the Series 1 box and a cheaper way into the AR tier. With ten AR designs in the pool versus four SE and four SP, an AR is the realistic "hit" for a Series 2 box, and the table above is why that is a good thing: most ARs clear A$100 raw on their own.

If you want both sets together, the Jin Chapter Collector Bundle pairs the Series 1 and Series 2 SEA boxes; the Series 2 booster packs are the same pool in singles.

    How these figures were gathered

We searched eBay Australia completed and sold listings for English NRSA02 cards between June and August 2026, grouped sales by card number and by the grade stated in the title, and removed lots, sets and pairs so each figure is one card. Prices are Australian dollars as displayed by eBay AU. Graded prices name the grader, because TAG, CGC and BGS 10s do not sell for PSA 10 money. Three months is a short window; the single-sale figures above are exactly that.
