About this product
What a blind box means
This is a blind box, so the figure inside is random. You are buying one sealed box from the After Dark Skeleton series, not a character of your choosing, and there is no marking on the outside that tells you which of the nine is inside.
The figure arrives sealed in a silver foil bag, so the reveal happens when you open it. If you are collecting towards a full set, buying several boxes does not guarantee nine different characters, because duplicates are possible.
The nine characters
Stellina, Dolce, Prima Donna, Kaijucorno, Tokimeki, Sakura, Fumo and Midnight make up the standard eight. Kaijucorno glows in the dark and Midnight is flocked.
Sirena, the mermaid Unicorno, is the chaser, packed at a printed ratio of 1 in 48. A paper insert in every box lists the full line-up so you can track what you still need.
Size, finish and display
Each Unicorno stands about 70mm tall, which is roughly 2.75 inches. The After Dark treatment gives every figure a translucent body with a skeleton moulded inside, so the bones show through the tinted vinyl, which is what makes the glow-in-the-dark Kaijucorno work.
This is the second After Dark series, following the Unicorno Masquerade set. tokidoki is a Los Angeles based character brand founded in 2005 by the Italian artist Simone Legno, and the Unicorno line has been running since 2011.
